The Occasion

The Rocky Mountains are nature’s domain. Where the elements rain, and reign. The man, now lost and disoriented, had managed to survive the storm. Little did he know that one of nature’s greatest predators was lurking in the shadows.Jamie got the call she had always dreaded. Her father had gone missing in the Rocky Mountains. The exhaustive search had been called off. “People go missing in National Parks every year, most of them are never found,” she was told, “not even a body.” Jamie hung up the phone and immediately began to pack. She would be on the next flight to Colorado. She wasn’t going there to beg for a renewed search, and she wasn’t going there to mourn.She was going there to find her father!
