Earth Wind Fire Water is a collection of poems written by Jamie Barmakian. These poems are based on astrology’s four main elements, heavily rooted in transcendentalism and mindfulness. Transcendentalism is a movement in which people believe in the link between the human experience and nature. Humans and nature are two halves of a whole. Mindfulness is the practice of being present in the moment. Transcendentalism and mindfulness go hand-in-hand because humans tend to turn to nature when looking inward or self-reflecting.
