Amelia’s Adventures

Katie Turner, a licensed mental health therapist, tries to empower children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder with a voice for how they function within their world. Connecting with people is a wonderful gift! Sometimes it just takes a bit of creativity, compassion and understanding to connect with those different from ourselves. Amelia is a bright and exceptional child with autism, whose unique experiences in life add wonder and joy to those around her. Her struggles also impact others, and this story gives a brief glimpse into what Amelia’s world is like.
